Dorothy J. Bumford

Dorothy J. Bumford, 81, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her home. Born in Colver, PA she was the daughter of the late Reed and Sarah (Hoover) Hauck. She was married to the late James S. Kruper, Sr.

Dorothy was an excellent cook and for several years, worked at a restaurant owned by her brother-in-law, in Ebensburg, PA.  In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo with her niece and best friend, Betty Charnesky.

She is survived by two daughters: Karen J. Rummel of Elizabethtown, Laurie A. Kruper of Marietta; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and brother Thomas Hauck. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son James S. Kruper, Jr., daughter Shillie J. Kruper, and eight siblings.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Belsano U.B. Cemetery, with Pastor Geno Bartolleti officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, Elizabethtown, PA.
