Charlotte A. (Craig) Sipe

Charlotte A. (Craig) Sipe, 95, of Harrisburg formerly of Hershey, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Colonial Park Care Center, Harrisburg.  She was born Tuesday, June 14, 1921 in Potters Mills, Centre County, to the late George and Mary Jane (Faust) Craig.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Kermit M. Sipe.

Charlotte was a faithful member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed keeping her hands busy cooking, baking pies, sewing, and doing needlecraft.  Charlotte enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping and fishing.  Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by a daughter Mary A. Sipe and companion Bryan L. Thomas of Harrisburg; a son, Rodney K. Sipe and wife Louise P. of Harrisburg; two granddaughters, Christine Sipe-Phillips and husband Dwight III of Harrisburg, Apryle Sipe of Harrisburg; two great-grandsons, Nicholas Sipe, Dwight Phillips IV; two extended grandsons, Tyler Thomas and Bradley Thomas of Harrisburg; and a brother, George “Babe” Craig of Centre Hall.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Lincoln and Charles Craig. 

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 13th at 11 AM at Rothermel- Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.  Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service.  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill Rd., Palmyra 17078.
