Beverly K. (Troutman) Retherford, 70, of Bainbridge, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Thursday, August 17, 1944 in West Donegal Township to Beatrice J. (Olweiler) Troutman, wife of the late William N. “Chick” Troutman. She was married to Albert D. Retherford for over 54 years.

Bev was an avid farmer and also worked for over 43 years at Seedway (formerly Agway) in Elizabethtown. She will be remembered as an animal lover who enjoyed gardening, reading, looking after her flowers and sharing her “gift of gab”.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Albert, of Bainbridge; two children, Michele L. McElwee and husband Jeff, of South Lebanon Township, Mark A. Retherford, of Elizabethtown; her mother, Beatrice, of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Kari, Brandon, Zachary, Cory, Tara, Dillan; four great grandchildren, Luke, Leyton, Lane, Elizabeth; two brothers, William and Daniel Troutman, both of Elizabethtown as well as her extended family and caring friends. She was predeceased by a daughter, Robin L. Irvin and a brother, Leonard Troutman.

A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
