Wanda J. (Bickerton) Costa

Wanda J. Costa, 79, of Marietta, (formerly of Forward Twp), passed away peacefully Sunday, April 16, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Born September 11, 1943 in McKeesport PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Greene) Bickerton.

After graduating High School Wanda spent her working career managing her husband’s business, Costa Construction, working in real estate for Century 21, & as an office manager at H&R Block. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Picnics at Round Hill Park, taking the grandchildren to amusement parks, having family picnics, swimming in the pool & playing 500 rummy. She loved to travel and do large family get-togethers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Harry; children: David Costa (Norma), Debbie Raffensperger (Randall), Michele Upstill (Troy); grandchildren: Christina Warfel, Jennifer Hull, Randall Raffensperger Jr., David Broadwater, Amanda Callihan, Samantha Williams, Patrick Costa, Jodie Costa, Julie Costa, Jacob Stockdill, Emma Stockdill, and Owen Stockdill; 24 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers Carl Coozey and Kent Bickerton.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 29 2023 starting at 10:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home. 25 West Pine Street Palmyra, PA 17078.
