Victoria Churchill Masters (fondly remembered as Vicki), cherished wife and mother of two, was called to Heaven on June 25, 2021.
Loving daughter (and second child) of the late Loyd L. Churchill and Muriel Mellert Churchill, Vicki was born Tuesday, November 29, 1949, in Reading, PA. On the snow-sprinkled Valentine's Day of 1970, Vicki married the love of her life, James L. Masters.
Vicki was a fountain of creativity who unconditionally shared her beautiful mind and kind heart with all whom she loved. An exceptional green thumb, she nurtured a wide array of plants, including African violets, garden flowers, and curated terrariums. From sewing clothes to clever crafting concepts to drawing with her children, Vicki added a touch of magic to every project. Her tremendous love of classic cinema and monster movies was only eclipsed by her adoration of her family. A guiding light who selflessly looked after those whom she held dear, Vicki will live forever in the hearts of her beloved.
In addition to her devoted husband and best friend of over 51 years, she is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth Churchill Masters, of Burbank, CA, and Madeline Churchill Masters, of Hershey, PA. Also surviving is her nephew, Dean Churchill, of Reading, PA, as well as Vicki's extended family and caring friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 2, 2021, at the Charles Evans Cemetery, 1119 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Vicki's memory to St. Joseph's Indian School or The Humane Society.
