Vickie A. Fleisher-Gann

Vickie A. Fleisher-Gann, 68, of Harrisburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at UPMCCommunity General Osteopathic Hospital. She was the daughter of Hazel M. (Sheaffer) Fleisher of Newport and the late Lester E. Fleisher. 

Vickie was a 1970 graduate of Newport High School.  She received her Associate of Arts degree in Nursing from HACC and obtained her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Penn State University.  Vickie was retired from Pinnacle Health Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.  Vickie enjoyed Penn State Football, the Chicago Bears, was an ardent supporter of Joe Paterno, and an avid blogger as an Alumni for Penn State.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends and especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.     

In addition to her mother, Vickie is survived by her 5 step-children Juanita L. Dudley and husband Keith Dudley of Cameron, NC; Laureen D. Vanasco; Art L. Gann; William R. Gann Jr. all of Harrisburg, PA; and Sean L. Gann and wife Latashia Gann of Flagstaff, AZ; and like-son Jeffery D. Ceasar of Harrisburg; sister-in-law Julia Marie Gann of Harrisburg; sister-in-law Joan Gann of Harrisburg;   22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; a sister Brenda J. Cox and husband Wayne of Middletown; and a brother Brian E. Fleisher and wife Amy of Newport and a host of nieces and nephews. 

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband William R. Gann Sr., her sister-in-laws, Claudia, Lucille, and Jeanette and brother-in-laws, David, Arthur, and Robert. 

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 10th at Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 208 North Union Street, Middletown, PA 17057 from 10:00-11:00 AM. A private family service will follow and can be viewed via livestream at https://studio.youtube.com/video/cxM2uSWJJyg/livestreaming.
