Susan A. (Frady) Lewis

Susan A. (Frady) Lewis, 73, of Mount Joy and formerly of Marietta, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.  Born Monday, October 30, 1944 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of Rosa “Rose” (Johns) Tyson and the late Lloyd “Ike” Frady, Jr.  She was married to John C. Lewis, Sr. on November 5, 1960.

Susan worked as a housekeeper cleaning various businesses and homes in the Marietta Area.  She was a member of Dove Christian Fellowship, Elizabethtown.  Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

In addition to her devoted husband of over 58 years, she will be lovingly missed by her mother, Rose, of Marietta; five sons: John C. Lewis, Jr., of Mount Joy; Russell L. Lewis (Diane), of Mountville; Charles D. “Toot” Lewis, of Columbia; Mike L. Lewis (Sherry), of Marietta and Barry E. Lewis, Sr., of Columbia; a sister, Tina Dyer, of Marietta as well as 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 North Gay Street, Marietta, PA  17547, 717-426-3614, with Pastor Tom Barnett officiating.  A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
