Sheryl Mahan Obituary

Sheryl L. Mahan, 70, of Wrightsville, passed away Friday October 13, 2023. Born January 7, 1953, in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Johnson McKain and Jack McKain.

After graduating from Donegal High School in 1970 she furthered her academic career at Saint Joseph School of Nursing, where she received her degree as a RN. She later went to night school at Millersville where she graduated Magna Cum Laude when receiving her BS in nursing. She spent her working career as a nurse at Columbia Hospital and LGH before she retired. In Sheryl’s free time she enjoyed reading and relaxing watching tv as well as spending the holidays with her family.

In addition to her stepfather Jack, she is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister Teri Jo Mahan.

In lieu of flowers donations in Sheryl’s memory to Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
