Sharon (Beahm) Williamson, 70, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 8, 2023 at UPMC Harrisburg. She was born Sunday, February 22, 1953 in Hershey to Phyllis (Rhodes) Beahm and the late Lyle Beahm, Jr. She was predeceased on Sunday, August 4, 2013 by her loving husband, Kramer E. Williamson.
Sharon graduated from Palmyra High School in 1971 and retired from the Penn State College of Medicine after 29 years of service. She was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Her love of racing began at an early age, following her father to the track and later working for a local track promoter. That’s where she met the love of her life, dirt track driver Kramer Williamson. She was an integral part of the family racing business, Kramer Kraft. She was recently honored with the Presidents Award by the York County Racing Club. Her contagious smile and full of life personality will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a daughter, Felecia D. Williamson of Harrisburg; a son, Kurtis K. Williamson of Palmyra; her mother, Phyllis Beahm of Palmyra; two sisters, Sandy Daniels of FL and Tina Beahm and partner Steve Beckwith of Harrisburg; a niece, Ami Zampi and two great nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Debra Brown; two faithful K-9 companions, Summer and Kozmo.
Family and friends are invited for viewing on Sunday, May 14th from 4 to 7 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 and Monday, May 15th from 9 to 11 AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM with Chaplain Jeff Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
