Rose "Pinky" M. (Haskett) Meglio

Rose M. “Pinky” Meglio, 81, of Marietta, formerly of Spring Valley, NY,  passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at home. Born Wednesday, March 29, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Harold Haskett and Margarette Hutto. 

Rose was retired from the electronics and retail industries. She was a Christian Cherokee. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, butterflies, feeding squirrels and wearing pink. In her younger years she loved singing in the choir. Rose was well loved by family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are two daughters: Mary J. Verbraak of Elmira, NY and Tina M. Quintana and husband German of Marietta; four grandchildren and one great great grandson; four brothers: Harry, Tommy, Louis and Earl and three sisters: Jo, Partricia and Margarette.

Rose was predeceased by a son Joseph Meglio, III; and siblings: Betty, Marcia, Junior and Howard

Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is taking donations to purchase pink rose bushes and a plaque in Rose’s honor.
