Robert Phillip Weismantel

Robert Phillip Weismantel, 80, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Ringwood, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at home. Born Thursday, March 22, 1938 in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph C. and Stella (Robatino) Weismantel. He was married 48 years to Virginia E. (Hahlbohm) Weismantel.

Bob resided in Ringwood, NJ for the past 47 years, and moved to Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA in April 2018. He attended East Side High School in Paterson and Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Bob was employed by Western Union as a designer, by In Store Advertising in addition to various other advertising agencies as Creative Art Director. He also founded Weismantel Design, Inc., a point of purchase design corporation. He was an avid nature conservationist, hiker, skier and sailor, and is a Life Member of Minisceongo Yacht Club in Stony Point, NY.

In addition to his wife Virginia, Bob is survived by a son William Robert Weismantel and his wife Christie Sue (Hopkins), and two grandchildren Aubrey Snow and Owen Robert all of Mount Joy, PA.

He was predeceased by a sister Katherine Bindhammer.
