Robert Showers

Robert Showers, 90, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was born Saturday, January 28, 1933 to the late Albert and Helen (Fornwalt) Showers. He is predeceased by his loving wife since November 16, 2017, Betty Lou (Thompson) Showers.

Robert was a faithful member of the Hershey Free Church and taught Sunday School for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. More than anything he was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his daughter: DeAnn Showers; grandchildren, Rachael Searfass and husband Dave, and Jacob Showers; great-grandchildren, Julia and Annie Searfass; and sister, Carolyn Lewis. In addition to his wife he is predeceased by his son, David Showers; and siblings, Earl and Janice Showers.

Services will be private at the connivence of the family and burial will take place at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
