Robert C. Blanset, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. Born Monday, December 2, 1935 in Hershey, he was the son of the late Roy and Sarah (Baker) Blanset.
A lifelong resident of central PA, Bob graduated from Hershey High School. After his service as a Supply Specialist in the Army, he married Marian, his wife of 59 years. They raised their family in Mechanicsburg where he was employed as a computer specialist at the Navy Depot until his retirement. He was a devoted husband and father and was always there to offer help or advice. He enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with his family and anything to do with cars, racing and music.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children: Robert Blanset; Diann Blanset, Susan (Michael) Harkavy; five grandchildren: Susanna, Sam, Ben, Sarah and Calista; and one brother: Donald Blanset. He was predeceased by a sister Elizabeth Shaak and a brother David Blanset.
