Raymond Harry Stonesifer

Raymond Harry Stonesifer, 79, of Hershey, passed away peacefully in his home with family by his side on Saturday, May 2, 2015.  He was born Friday, February 14, 1936 in Lewisberry to the late Harry and Christine (Graves) Stonesifer.  He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara E. (Williams) Stonesifer.

Raymond was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Palmyra. He dedicated his life’s work to Real Estate for CIR- Commercial Industrial Real Estate and was a member of the PA Relators Association.  He proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam. As a skilled remodeler he enjoyed woodworking, plumbing, and electrical work, as well as serving others by doing Quick Builds with Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Ray was very mechanical, he enjoyed boating, fishing, playing the guitar, and was a champion horseshoe thrower.  He was a Mason and member of the Brownstone Lodge #666. Most importantly Ray was a loving husband, father, step-father, and grandfather.

He is survived by 3 sons, Daren Stonesifer and wife Sheila of Middletown, Ray Stonesifer, Jr. and wife Renee of Hershey, and Brand Stonesifer and wife Raquel of Lewisberry; 3 step-children, John A. Jaminet and wife Marie of Bristol, WI, Susan M. Sterkenberg and husband John of Palmyra, and Barry Jaminet and wife Jenn of Charlotte, NC; 10 grandchildren; and a faithful k-9 companion, Mack.

A memorial service was held Sunday, May 3rd at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.    Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.,  25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.
