Naomi R. (Lehman) Engle

Naomi R. (Lehman) Engle, 90, formerly of Marietta, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family at her home in Willow Street.  Born Tuesday, October 20, 1931, in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Alma (Brant) Lehman.  She was married to Jacob W. Engle for over 63 years until his death on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Naomi was a member of Cross Roads BIC Church, Mount Joy.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening, as well as sharing God's love. 

She is survived by three children: Debra A. Wertz, married to Dusty, of Conestoga, Sandra K. Henry, married to Haines, of Pequea and Jeffrey D. Engle, married to Kelly, of Manheim.  Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, Nan Engle, of East Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, as well as Naomi’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Fredrick L. Engle.  

A Celebration of Naomi’s Life will begin promptly at 11 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Cross Roads BIC Church, 800 Donegal Springs Road, Mount Joy, PA  17552.  A time of visitation will follow the service on Saturday.  Private Interment was at the convenience of the family in Cross Roads Cemetery, Mount Joy.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Naomi’s memory to Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Lancaster County, 5307 Main Street, East Petersburg,  PA 17520.
