Nancy L. (Park) Eberly

Nancy L. Eberly, 70, of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord
on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in
Elizabethtown she was the daughter of the late William J. and Esther
(Bishop) Park. A homemaker, she was the widow of the late LeRoy D.
Eberly. They were married January 28, 1956.

Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School. She was
an avid Bears fan and enjoyed the band. Nancy was a 59-year member of
St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown where she served
others by helping to prepare funeral luncheons and served as financial
secretary for 15 years. Many people will also know her from serving at
polling places for elections. She also enjoyed collecting toy bears
and doll babies, and knitting and doing crafts.

Nancy is survived by three sons Jeffrey S. Eberly (Mary Jane Reed),
Mount Joy; Anthony P., husband of Sue Eberly, Marietta and Timothy P.,
husband of Beth Eberly, Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, eight great
grandchildren; a brother Thomas Park, Tuscaloosa, AL; sisters: Judy
Shank, Elizabethtown, Peggy, wife of Clifford Shank, Elizabethtown and
Cindy, wife of Linwood Walters, Bainbridge.

She was preceded in death by a brother James D. Park.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Paul’s
United Methodist Church, 398 North Locust Street, Elizabethtown, PA
17022 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Thursday evening at
Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street,
Elizabethtown from 6:30-8:30 PM and on Friday at the church from 10:00
AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Mount
Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United
Methodist Church.
