Melissa P. Nye

Melissa P. Nye, 41, of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at home. Born Monday, February 18, 1980, she was the daughter of Patricia (Turner) Keefer of England and the late Samuel Keefer. She was married 22 years to William J. Nye Jr.

Missy was a 1998 graduate of Manheim Central High School. A homemaker, she loved her family the most, going to their sporting events and adored her pets.

In addition to her husband Will, she is survived by a daughter Sable Nye; a son: Stephen Nye, both of Marietta; a step-daughter: Aubrey Hossler of Lancaster, and giving extra love to a little boy Aryan Saltsgiver, who she had legal guardianship of.  Melissa also is survived by two brothers: Michael Keefer and wife Amy of Maytown, and David Keefer of New Jersey.

Missy was very close to her husband's family, they spent every Sunday at their house for dinner, as well as every holiday.  She is survived by her mother-in-law Christine Nye of Maytown; a sister in law: Christine Emswiler and husband Den, along with their two children: C.C. and Zack Emswiler all of Maytown.  

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
