Mary L. (Gill) Hartley

Mary L. Hartley (Gill), of Middletown, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 86. Born May 6, 1936, in Middletown Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Howard Gill and Irene (Tittler) Gill. She was married for 16 years to the love of her life Leroy Hartley and stayed loyal even after his passing.

She spent her working career as a seamstress with she enjoyed very much than spent time being a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, Gin Rummy, and building puzzles. You could also catch her chasing you out of the house with a broom if you got on her nerves. Mary loved to have fun.

Mary is survived by her children: Leroy M. Hartley and partner Terry Hoffman, Irene E. Hicks and husband David L. Hicks Sr., William H. Hartley and wife Tina M. Hartley and Matthew Hartley. 14 grandchildren; siblings: Shirley P. and Howard Gill. She is predeceased by her son Albert Hartley and grandson Christopher M. Hicks.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date per family request.
