Lionel "Casey" E. Bostdorf

Lionel “Casey” E. Bostdorf, 87, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, April 24that Masonic Village. He was the husband of the late Gloria A. Bostdorf in which they celebrated 48 years of marriage. Born in Dauphin, PA, Lionel was the son of the late Charles M. and Elizabeth (Clements) Bostdorf.

A graduate of William Penn High School, retired Navy C.P.O. (23 years), and was a retired PA Fire Marshall (18 years). He was an avid camper with family and friends, and held many offices in the Camping Organization, FCRV. He coached Rheems AA Baseball and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at their sporting events.

Lionel is survived by two sons: David E., husband of Lisa Bostdorf, Mount Joy and Steven C., husband of Denise Bostdorf, York; a daughter, Deborah A. Loehr of Enola; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Lamar and Jake, and a granddaughter Jennifer Campbell.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Carpenter Chapel, 1244 Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown (on the Patton Campus at Masonic Village) at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will be received before the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow services in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.
