Leroy W. (Lee) Killian, 89, of Middletown, died peacefully at home on October 25, 2019. He was the son of the late Elvin and Florence Killian of Elizabethtown. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Donna K. Killian, and children: April Stephens (Chuck), Loren Choate, Patrick Killian (Nicole); and Donna’s children, Stephanie Seigh (Ken); and Stephen Moyer (Joyce); grandchildren: Grant Stephens (Rachel); Mark Stephens (Kelsey); Daniel Choate (Tiffany); Bristol Choate; Stacey Choate; Dallas Choate; Sean Killian; Jonathan McNeill; Collin McNeil (Natalie); Jackie McNeill (Troy); Sarah Snyder (Matt) and Alexis Moyer (Duncan); 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Shank and nephews, Michael (Tina) and Todd (Alta).
A graduate of Elizabethtown High School, he was a veteran of the Korean conflict, where he served on a Navy destroyer and retired from AMP after 33 years. A master tool and die maker, he enjoyed teaching his trade into his 80’s. An avid hunter and fisherman some of his happiest memories were of fishing for salmon in New York, and taking his grandchildren on their first fishing trip. A faithful patron of the Middletown Library, he loved his mysteries.
A celebration of his life will be held at his church, Evangelical United Methodist, 157 East Water St., Middletown, on November 9, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and service following at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be at Indiantown Gap at the convenience of the family.
