Katherine Lucinda (Franklin) Ebersole, 77, of Maytown, formerly of Elizabethown Pa, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Paramount Senior Living. Born Friday, August 20, 1943 in Oklahoma City, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Grace Lena (Evans) Franklin. She was married 56 years to Raymond G. Ebersole who passed away April 12, 2019.
A homemaker all her life, Katherine’s greatest love was her family. She attended E-town Grace church. She will be remembered for serving others, leading vacation Bible school, teaching Sunday School and reading books and sleeping in tents with her grandchildren.
Surviving are four children: Kary Ray Ebersole and wife Sharon of Lakeworth, FL; Raymie Kay Grube and husband Harry of Willow Spring, NC; Christopher Ray Ebersole of Lakeworth, FL and Kimberly Ray Shaffer and husband Robert of Elizabethtown; 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a sister: Patricia Chambers; and two brothers: Paul Franklin and Mark Chambers.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring Raymond and Katherine will be held on Saturday March 13th 11:00am at E-town Grace 305 Anchor Rd. Elizabethtown PA 17022. Interment will take place along with her husband at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
