Joseph E. Puckhaber, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. Born February 11, 1942, to the John and Josephine (Hahn) Puckhaber.
After graduating high school Joseph furthered his career by going to school for his Bachelor's degree in microbiology. During this time, he worked at a bakery to help him get through his schooling. After 25 years working at Pepperidge Farms, he felt the calling of God and decided to return to school to obtain his Master's of Divinity. He then went forward to become an astounding pastor. In his free time, he enjoyed baking, wood-working, camping and taking his wife on cruises or to the beach. Joseph will always be remember for his selfless and generous soul.
He is survived by his daughters: Susan Sebastian, Christina Oesterwind, Mandy Kuhns and Lissa Marks; grandchildren: Joseph Oesterwind, Alexys Oesterwind, Matthew Marks, Andrew Marks, Mikayla Groff, Madison Kuhns and Melaina Kuhns; his fur babies Auggie and Zoe.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joseph’s memory may be made to the Speranza Animal Rescue. 1216 Brandt Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
