Janice Louise Kehler

Janice Louise (Ellinger) Kehler, 86, of Mount Gretna, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018.  Born Monday, June 13, 1932 to the late Wellington S. and Rose Marie (Peters) Ellinger.

Jann was an Elizabethtown High School graduate who continued her education in Lancaster where she pursued a nursing career.  She worked at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center from the time they opened in the pediatrics department for 22 years.  She is a United States AirForce veteran and while serving she played for the basketball team.  Most importantly she was a loving person.

She is survived by her sister, Geraldine (Ellinger) Wolverton; niece, Wendy W.R. Scheuing; friend and companion, Mary Jane Haines; and several cousins. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 1PM at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Reverend Samuel Fry officiating.  A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until time of service.  Burial will follow in Mount Tunnel Cemetery with full military honors.
