James C. Snyder

James C. Snyder, 63, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 7, 2021.  He was born on Friday, September 13, 1957 to the late Harvey M and Jean F. (Werner) Snyder.

James was a graduate of Palmyra High School, class or 1975 and continued his education at Penn State University, class of 1980.  He went on to establish, Snyder Forestry Consultants, he loved being outdoors either hunting or fishing.  James had a love for his golden retrievers, Maggie and Kooper but most importantly he was a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by his daughter: Alyxandra Pavone and husband Dominic; granddaughter, Charlotte Pavone; sisters, Kristie S. Cavallaro and husband Dominic and Wendy J. Beard and husband Bernard; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11AM at the Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St., Palmyra, PA 17078.  A time of visitation will take place from 10:30 AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow at the Hershey Cemetery, Hershey.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Wildlife Conservation Society, Attn: Donations, 2300 Southern Boulevard Bronx, NY 10460 or to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
