Jacob A. Wise, Jr.

Jacob A. Wise, Jr., 69, of Bainbridge, passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Friday, November 9, 1951 in Hershey, he was the son of the late Jacob A., Sr. and Louise (Long) Wise. He was married 51 years to Kathy L. (Smith) Wise. 

Jacob retired after 30 years with Yellow Freight. He previously hauled logs for Zeager Brothers. He enjoyed farming and butchering at his homestead, loved boating, hunting and fishing, and especially loved pig roasts and BBQ picnics. Jacob fully restored a 1941 Farmall Tractor with his son Jamie and brother Ron. He was also an avid Steelers fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Jacob A. Wise, III of Bainbridge and Jamie L. Wise and wife Kathy Wise of Mount Joy; a granddaughter Samantha Harven, a great granddaughter  Kinsley Snively; sister Cathy Rosewicz and husband Dave of Marietta, and their children Deb Ross, Jen Flowers and Joe Thome; sister Linda Wise of Etters and her son Jason Sheffield; brother Ronald Wise of Middletown and his children Justin Wise and Ronald Wise, Jr. Jacob was predeceased by a brother Michael Wise, and is survived by his children Michael Wise, Jr. and Megan Wise.

Service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family Please light a candle in honor of him.
