J. Bradley Longenecker passed away October 11 at his home in Bainbridge, PA. He was born in Livonia, Michigan, October 7, 1969. He was the son of John L. and Patricia J. Longenecker. He graduated from Elizabethtown High School, class of 1988, and earned a BS degree from Delaware Valley College in 1982. For over twenty- five years, he owned and operated Berry Patch Landscaping. He attended the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren. His favorite pastime was fishing, either on the Susquehanna River or on trips to Alaska. He also was an avid hunter and took pride in deer he shot in woodland at his childhood home. Throughout high school years, Brad was a key member of the wrestling team, winning several trophies. He continued to support Etown wrestling and mentored many of the current team.
Brad is survived by his sister, Elizabeth, (Ronald) Norton), Wake Forest, North Carolina, and three nieces, Taylor Paige, Lilly Grace, and Molli Claire Norton.
The family will hold a private memorial and interment. Condolences may be shared at www.FinkenbinderFamily.com. They hope Brad’s life and memory will live on as a blessing to all who knew him and called him, “Friend”.
