Eric Andrew Blauch

Eric Andrew Blauch, 49, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his home.  He was born Thursday, February 14, 1974 in Reading to Lynn E. and Cynthia (Kline) Blauch of Palmyra.  He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jaime (Nodge) Blauch.

Eric graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 1992 and was instrumental in founding and running several area businesses.  Most recently he and his immediate family became the owners and operators of Paramount Sports Complex in Annville.  He was an Eagle Scout, brotherhood member of the order of the arrow a national honor society of campers, and a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church.  He served as a volunteer basketball coach at the Milton Hershey School and donated his time and talents to many local organizations and sports teams.  Most of all, family was the most important thing in the world to Eric.  He loved being a husband and father and cherished his new role as a grandfather.  His larger than life personality and friendly smile will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by two sons, Brandon D. Blauch and wife Rachel of Palmyra, Jordan J. Blauch and significant other Haleigh of Palmyra; two daughters, Madison R. Blauch of Palmyra, Isabella J. Blauch of Palmyra; a grandson, James David Blauch; three brothers, David Blauch and wife Laura of NC, Andrew Blauch and wife Debbie of SC, Darian Blauch and significant other Amber Higgins of Palmyra; two sisters, Beth Border and husband Scott of AZ, Danielle Swancey and husband Danny of AZ.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19th at Noon at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Zim officiating.  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.  Family and friends are invited for viewing on Friday, August 18th from 6 PM to 9 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra and on Saturday from 11 AM until time of the service at the church.
