Donna Jean (Wagner) Rhodes

Donna Jean (Wagner) Rhodes, 74, of Linglestown, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.  She was born Friday, July 30, 1948 to the late Randall E. and Ruth (Cassel) Wagner.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Lee Rhodes, on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.

She graduated from Hershey High School in 1966 and owned and operated a residential and commercial cleaning business with her husband.  She enjoyed going camping, spending time at the beach, family pig roasts and listening to all types of music.  Her contagious smile and hearty laugher made her the life of the party.  She loved her family and friends, and adored her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by five children, Kathi J. Lipinsky and husband Joe of Linglestown, Jon P. Moyer and wife Lisa of Middletown, Robert L. Rhodes, Jr. and wife Alexis of Halifax, Scott M. Rhodes and wife Cortney of AZ, and Brandon L. Rhodes of Torrance; nine  grandchildren, Casey Moyer, Courtney Moyer, Jon Moyer, Eric Rhodes, Gavin Rhodes, Jaydin Rhodes, Devin Rhodes, Masin Rhodes, and Ashtin Rhodes; a brother, Randy Wagner of Palmyra; a niece, Carolyn Wagner of Palmyra.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 22nd at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with private family burial following in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.  A celebration of life pig roast will be held at her son Jon’s house at a later date this summer. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Homeward Bound Animal Rescue (HBAR), 437 Woodcrest Drive, Mechanicsburg PA 17050 or an animal rescue of your choice.
