David Gerard Adams

David Gerard Adams, 59, of Carrolltown/Elizabethtown, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022. Born June 11, 1962, in Spangler, Pennsylvania he was the son of Jacquelynn Adams and the late Dick Adams.

After high school he obtained several certifications as a paramedic and was so proud to have served his local community as a volunteer firefighter/paramedic. In his free time, you were likely to find Dave sitting by the fire at the camper with his fiancée Melanie, with an ice-cold beer in his hand. He loved to spend time with his family, hunt, fish, feed marshmallows to the bears, and anything that involved the outdoors. Dave was no stranger to the kitchen.  If you asked nicely, he would whip up some of his famous chili, potato soup, stuffed mushrooms, or smoke any meat your heart desired. Dave was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pirates.

His legacy will live on through his loving fiancé Melanie Fivecoat; Children: Stacy Adams (Denton), Molly Smith (Rollin), Dalton Adams (Ashley), Stepdaughter: Courtney Perry (Cody) as well as Grandchildren: Nik, Xander, Emmi, and Bruin. Siblings: Amy, Doug, and Darin as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, raise a glass of Miller High Life in loving memory of Dave. Somewhere in heaven he will be toasting to us. Give heaven a little hell Dad, we'll see ya later.

A viewing will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory. The family asks that you feel free to come as you are, as their dad was a casual attire kind of man.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
