Daniel J. Beers

Daniel Joseph Beers, son of Olin O. Beers and Paula A. Thamez, brother to Stefanie Michelle Beers and Uncle to Torin Daniel Cash entered heavens gates April 12, 2022 at age 45.

Daniel was born in Houston Texas on March 31, 1977. Daniel graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Culinary Arts School. He spent his career as a Fine Dining Chef traveling throughout the United States until his illness in 2019. Daniel was a research patient at the University of Pittsburg in January of 2019 having a Pancreaticectomy with an inlet cell transplant becoming a type 3 diabetic.

Daniel was predeceased in death by his sister, Stefanie, his stepbrother Robert Thamez, grandparents, Olin O. and Amelia Beers, L.J. and Ida Morrissey, Uncles Larry, Fred, and Kenny Morrissey and Aunt Frances Weaber.

Waiting here on earth to join him in God's kingdom as his Father and MaMa, his stepmother, Janice Beers, his stepfather Joseph Thamez, Sr., step Grandmother Joann Rockel, stepbrothers Joe, Jr., and Doug Thamez (Teresa), stepsisters, Sandra Huddleston (Larry), Nancy Steelman (Michel)  and Lisa Thamez (Ragnar) and his special nephew, Torin Daniel Cash, Uncle Bernie Morrissey (Norma Lee) Aunt Thea Fisher (Leroy) and a host of cousins and friends. He also leaves behind a very special friend, Bond Ruggles.

Graveside services will be held on April 18, 2022 at 1 PM at Holy Savior Cemetery in the family plot at the feet of his Grandpa Morrissey in Cornwall, PA. Thea Fisher and Bernard Morrissey officiating.
