Colby Ethan Hall, 17, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Elizabethtown. Born Monday, May 17, 2004 in Hershey, he was the beloved son of Donald W. and Melanie R. (Dechant) Hall of Elizabethtown.
A Senior at Elizabethtown Area High School, Colby attended CTC in Mount Joy full time for welding, which he loved. He played Lacrosse for EAHS and the Lebanon Valley Lacrosse Club, and was a fan of Notre Dame Lacrosse. Colby had a great love of fishing, really enjoyed the outdoors and working with his hands. He was also a member of the Capital City Bassmasters. He worked out at the gym every day and aspired to enter competitive body building next year. He was working as a lifeguard at the Hershey Lodge and over the summer at Hershey Park. He loved horses and also worked as a stable hand at Heartwinds Farm in Elizabethtown. Colby previously volunteered with CMN, the Milton Hershey School and Masonic Village.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister Shelby B. Hall of Brooklyn, NY; maternal grandparents: William A. and Cheryl M. Dechant of Middletown; three aunts: Michelle A. Geppert and husband Rick of Middletown; Marsha A. Gentile and husband Lucien of Harrisburg and Amy Betke and husband Butch of Monaca, PA; and cousins Lauren Geppert, Kyle Geppert, Samantha Betke and Christopher Betke.
Colby was predeceased by two brothers Owen William and Ethan Owen Hall; paternal grandparents: Ronald W. and Elizabeth M. Hall; and an uncle William C. Dechant.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 904 Mill Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 12:00 PM. Visitation with family will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
