Catherine Hess Obituary

Catherine Mary Hess, 90, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Thursday, July 16, 2020. She was born to the late John F. and Catherine (Culp) Stump. She is predeceased by her loving husband Carl W. Hess since February 27, 1984.

She was a avid gardener with a love for interior design. She attended the Calvery Bible Church of Mount Joy. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She is survived by her children: Linda Simione, Kathleen Garber and Richard Hess; grandchildren, Angela DeGroat, Jason Wilson and Katie Coover; 14 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her grandchildren A. Christopher Simione, Keri Koestner and several siblings.

Burial will be held at Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
