Carol Lynn (Blaker) Morris, 78, of Annville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born Thursday, November 19, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late Oliver F. and Beatrice (Keen) Blaker. She was predeceased on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 by her loving husband of 51 years, Dr. Jay L. Morris.
She graduated from Lycoming College and spent her professional career in healthcare management, supporting her husband’s chiropractic practice. In 1969 they established a successful private practice at 725 Walnut Street in Lebanon, which relocated to 115 East Walnuts Street in 2007. Their work together over the 46 years of private practice earned numerous decorations, awards and citations in the discipline. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, served on the board of Lebanon Family Health Services and the Lebanon Country Club. Most of all she was proud of her family and cherished time spent with them, especially her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Morris) Lyons and husband Dr. Stephen E. Lyons of Palmyra; a son, Tadd Oliver Morris of St. Croix, USVI; two grandchildren, Peyten Lynn Lyons and Stephen E. Lyons, II of Palmyra; a brother, F. Keen Blaker and wife Hubble of MD; a daughter-in-law, Maurya Morris Incavido of Dunmore. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles B. Blaker.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 9th at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10 AM until time of the service. A period of food and fellowship will follow at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
