Angeline J. (Galuppo) Kohlweiler

Angeline J. Kohlweiler, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Thursday, March, 19, 1942 in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Pearl (DiMaggio) Galuppo. She was married over 58 years to George H. Kohlweiler, Jr.

Angeline was retired from Elizabethtown College where she worked as an administrative assistant. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Elizabethtown where she was actively involved in Eucharistic Devotions and Rite of Christian Initiation. She enjoyed playing

Scrabble and card games with her friends, but what brought her the most joy was the time spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Susan Smith and husband Robert of Elizabethtown, Linda Bell and husband Brian of Elizabethtown; a son George H. Kohlweiler (Chip) and wife Kristina of Waterford, VA; and six grandchildren: RJ and Kaitlyn Smith, Tyler and Dylan Bell, and Hamann and Adler Kohlweiler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Angeline was predeceased by two sisters: Grace Miele and Gloria Phillipps.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, March 8, 2024 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 904 Mill Road, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, followed by a luncheon in the church social hall. Interment will take place in St. Peter Cemetery Columbarium.
