W. Spencer Hinerman

W. Spencer Hinerman, 61, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in his home.  He was born Friday, February 26, 1954 in Harrisburg to Greta E. (Peters) Hinerman and the late Wilson Spencer Hinerman.  He is survived by his loving wife Janet K. (Hulsizer) Hinerman.

Spencer was a talented artist, he was a skilled carver, turner, and woodworker.  He was a dedicated teacher and counselor as well as a theologian, historian, and avid reader.  Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by 4 children, Noah Hinerman, Adele Smey, Candice Tarker, and Isaac Hinerman; 8 grandchildren, Paige Edris, Brooke Hinerman, Alexa Vazquez, Makaley Ruhl, Ayanna Velez, Nicole Hoffer, Alaijah Carpenter, and Cason Tarker; and 1 great-granddaughter, Jayleah Santiago.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 16th at 11 AM at Mt. Wilson Church of the Brethren, 1261 Mt. Wilson Rd., Lebanon 17042 with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating.  There will be a period of fellowship following the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.
