Winifred M. Skorski

Winifred Margaret (Leahy) Skorski, 95, of Dumont, NJ passed away with family by her side on Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was born Sunday, May 6, 1917 in Union City, NJ to the late David and Margaret (Moran) Leahy. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony Marion Skorski.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Skorski; a son, Raymond Skorski and wife Lisa; 3 grandsons, David, Timothy, and Matthew Skorski; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 siblings, Margaret (Leahy) Martin, Theodore Leahy, Peter Leahy, Dennis Leahy, Nora (Leahy) Woods, Elizabeth (Leahy) O'Brien Arrants; and 4 half-siblings, John J. Leahy, David Leahy, Catherine (Leahy) Pfeiffer Reilly, Mary (Leahy) Clarkson.

Family and friends are invited for viewing Friday, February 22nd from 7-9 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home, 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. On Saturday, February 23rd family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until 11:00 AM at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 23rd at 11:30 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1840 Marshall Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Fr. David L. Danneker, Ph.D. as celebrant. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.
