William J. Vohs

William J. “Bill” Vohs of the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, passed away on November 10, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital of complications of Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 78.  He was born in Easton, PA on May 2, 1938. He was married to Patricia Gelbert for 57 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Chuck Vohs of Mechanicsburg, Kitty Foor of Amherst, Virginia, five grandchildren, and sister Betty Stem.

Bill was a Master Mason and Eagle Scout. He uniquely belonged to 3 BSA camping organizations, Order of the Arrow, Mic-o-say of Kansas City, MO, and Tribe of Tahquitz of Long Beach, CA. He was awarded the Silver Beaver by BSA Bucks County Council for services to youth.

Honoring Bill’s request, there will be no services held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
