William B. Moore, III

William B. “Bill” Moore, III, 90, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born in Lemoyne, PA, he was the son of the late William B. Moore, II and Sarah E. (Grim) Moore. He was the loving husband to Betty I. (Harold) Moore for 67 years.

Bill was a proud Air Force veteran. In 1967, Bill started his career with Westinghouse, which later became Northrop Grumman. After an illustrious career in Field Engineering, he retired in 1996. He was an active member of Christian Temple (Disciples of Christ) of Catonsville, MD. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling. Bill also had an affinity for fruit trees, growing many types of his own.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his two children, Michelle Mills (Chuck) and Steven Moore (Mark Moorman); a grandson, Bradley Mills; a brother, Richard E. Moore (Sally); and a sister-in-law, Joanne Chaffin.

A private burial will be held in Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, PA.
