William "Joe" W. Leeper

William “Joe” W. Leeper, 88, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Born in Burd Coleman, he was the son of the late John and Daisy (Sweeney) Leeper. Joe was the loving husband of the late Roberta “Birdie” J. (Stoudt) Leeper, who passed in 1999.

Joe enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching westerns, and listening to country music. A lover of the outdoors, he loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies and the Eagles. Joe was always joking around and could often be found completing word finds and sudoku puzzles.

He is survived by his daughter, Jolene Wenkhous (Joel); four grandchildren, Nicole, Erin (Lindsay), Stephanie, and Brandon; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John “Jack” Leeper and Carl Leeper (Bonnie). He is preceded in death by his son, W. Scott Leeper; one step-grandson, Bruce Eisenhauer; seven brothers; and four sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 12PM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 11AM until the time of service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
