William R. Duncan, Sr.
February 22, 1939 — November 28, 2024
William R. Duncan, Sr., 85, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Born in Highspire, he was the son of the late Melvin E. and Kathryn (Bryan) Duncan. He was the loving husband to Whynonna J. (Sine) Duncan for 61 years.
William was an avid sports fan, enjoying football, baseball, and hockey. He was especially fond of the New York Yankees, Chicago Black Hawks, and Indianapolis Colts. William also enjoyed cooking.
In addition to his wife, William is survived by three children, Sheryl, Michele, and Darlene; a step-daughter, Kathy; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, William; and his brother; along with his parents.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
