William “Bill” Robert Deasy, 62, of Maytown, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his home on Sunday, February 1, 2015.  He was born Saturday, November 8, 1952 in Pittsburgh to the late William James and Ruth Irene (Wisniewski) Deasy.  He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Nina Celeste (Carvell) Deasy.

Bill retired from Armstrong Ceiling Plant in Marietta after 34 years of loyal employment.  Music was a very important part of his life and he greatly enjoyed playing the guitar.  He was a jokester and loved to spend time cooking and grilling for his family.  Most importantly he was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by 2 sons, Shawn M. Johnson (Crystal) of Hempfield and William T. Deasy of Maytown; 2 grandchildren, Carter and Reagan; a brother, Thomas Deasy of Pittsburgh; 2 nieces, Tara Tipping and husband Matthew of Mt. Joy and Shiela Verno of Pittsburgh; and 3 great-nephews, Matthew, Skyler, and Jaden.

All are invited and welcomed to a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated on Saturday, February 7 th at 1 PM at St. Peters Historic Catholic Church, 1 St. Peters Place, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Very Reverend Steven W. Fauser V.F. as Celebrant.  Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.millerfuneralhome.com
