Virginia M. “Jean” (Radell) Haag, 84, of Campbelltown, passed away surrounded by her beloved family on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Born in Trevorton, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bessie (Wolfe) Radell. She was the wife of the late Eugene D. Haag who died in 1993.

Virginia, known to many as “Mammie” was retired from Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Palmyra, where she worked for over 20 years. She enjoyed Bingo, camping, traveling to the beach, laying in the sun, walking on the Boardwalk, crocheting caps for her grandchildren, attending sporting events, cooking for the neighborhood and most of all, being with her family.

Virginia is survived by four daughters: Audrey L. Cressinger, Trevorton; Donna J. (John R. Reesman), Lebanon; Lisa G. Brown, Palmyra and Sherri L. (Barry D.) Sears, Lebanon; 10 grandchildren: Brian, Misty, Jeremy, Christopher, Tanya, Mark, Matthew, Bradley, Andrew and Melissa; 13 great grandchildren and a brother William Radell.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son Michael Haag, two daughters: Connie L. Heisey and Rosie M. Miller; a sister Carol and a brother Tim. She will also be missed by her beloved grandpuppy, Gidget.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Palmyra First United Methodist Church, 520 East Birch Street, Palmyra at 9:30 AM. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Friday at the church from 8:30 AM until the time of service.

Interment will take place in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Colebrook.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Caring Cupboard, 141 N. Railroad Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 or to Compassionate Care Hospice, 1513 Cedar Cliff Drive, Suite 100, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
