Valeria M. (Hartman) Greider

Valeria M. (Hartman) Greider, 94, of Manheim, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born Thursday, January 3, 1924 in White Deer, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Edna (Solomon) Hartman. On January 2, 1943, she married Jay R. Greider, Jr., who passed away December 11, 2015.
Valeria was a long time member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown.
She is survived by two children: Patricia A. Hock and husband Winand of Boalsburg, PA and Kenneth R. Greider and wife Cynthia of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren: Kristina Hock of State College; Laura Hock Phillips (David) of Greenwich, CT; Rachel Greider of Philadelphia, Phillip Greider of Elizabethtown, and Hannah Greider of Orlando, FL; and four great grandchildren.
