Toni L. (Carotto) Boyer

Toni L. (Carotto) Boyer, 56, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020, surrounded by her loving family at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.  She was born Friday, May 22, 1964 in Lancaster, PA.  She was married to Scott M. Boyer on May 11, 1985.

Mrs. Boyer worked as a beautician/barber at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, for over 30 years.  Toni had a strong passion for her religion.  She was a member of Conoy BIC Church, Elizabethtown, where she served as the secretary for the Board of Directors, was a member of the worship team, a former assistant for the church youth group and was currently the head of the church’s hospitality team.  Toni loved her cat, Lilly, hiking, being in nature as well as attending family reunions.  Above all, she was will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

In addition to her husband of over 35 years, she is survived by two sons: Brent M. Boyer, of Harrisburg and Jake A. Boyer, of Elizabethtown.  Also surviving are three siblings: Penny M. Carotto, of Lancaster, Randy A. Carotto, of Mount Joy, Heather N. Rhyder, married to Kevin, of Elizabethtown, as well as Toni’s extended family and caring friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Louis P. Carotto and a son, Bradley S. Boyer.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Private interment will take place in Goods Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
