Thomas B. (Jr.) Worrall

Thomas Butler Worrall Jr. passed away peacefully on July 30, 2022 at Lancaster, PA. He was 85 years old. Tom was born in Kennett Square, PA on November 5, 1936 to Rachel (Baxter) and Thomas Worrall.

Tom proudly served in the US Army before returning to build his life in Kennett Square. An avid car enthusiast, he started with the Kennett Sunoco station, and eventually opened Worrall’s Auto Sales. Tom was always most proud to see his auto sales emblems on the cars he sold to the local community.  In retirement, Tom loved to spend time watching his grandchildren’s’ sporting events, tinkering with a variety of home projects and traveling with Zoe.

Tom is survived by his wife Zoe, his son Todd Worrall (Suzanne) of Landenberg, PA, his daughter Wendy Worrall Fletcher of Severna Park, MD, step-son John Ridinger (Cathy) of Lancaster, PA and grandchildren, Matt von_ Worrall (Haley), Connor Worrall, Shannon Fletcher, Allison Fletcher, Jay Ridinger (Dakota), Ryan Ridinger (Kennedi), Delaney Baird and Dawson Baird, as well as two adored great granddaughters.

The burial will be limited to immediate family only. There will be a celebration of Tom’s life on Saturday August 6th at Letty’s Tavern in Kennett Square at 2:30pm.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity in Tom’s name.
