Thomas Samuel Scheller, born on October 17, 1927, died peacefully on July 12, 2012 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA
He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. He was predeceased in 2003, by his wife of 54 years, Anna Mae (Meckes) Scheller. He is survived by his lady friend, Lauretta Towner of Masonic Village, his daughters Linda Hinson wife of David of Allentown, Dorothy Kardos wife of Robert of Lemoyne, Cheryl Lynch wife of David of Annville and one foster son, Lee Ashton husband of Cathy of Florida. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He retired from Milton Hershey School where he and his wife, Anna Mae, were houseparents in the 1970’s, and then he became a dairyman and later worked for the farm division. In his retirement years he and his wife had traveled in their RV and worked at the Giant Center in Hershey. A master mason, he was a member of Abraham C. Treichler Lodge #682, F&AM, Elizabethtown.
He had a good long life, and was a strong influence on many young lives.
A Private Memorial Service will be held by his family.
