Thomas S. Daub

Thomas S. Daub, 86, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Twin Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center, Palmyra.  He was born Tuesday, January 15, 1929 in Colebrook to the late Harry and Esther (Snyder) Daub.  He was married to Shirley E. (Kercher) Daub on October 25, 1952.

A Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Tom proudly served with the U.S. Army as a Tank Commander.  He also worked for Hershey Foods for over 46 years retiring in 1991.

In addition to his wife of nearly 63 years, he will be lovingly missed by a son, Dennis M. Daub and wife Donna, of Elkton, Maryland; a daughter, Debra E. Tolley and husband C. Douglas, of Lititz; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Daub, of Lebanon as well as Tom’s extended family and caring friends.  He was predeceased by seven brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, with Rev. Dwight C. Hein officiating.  Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with full military honors.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to view at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
