Terry G. Von Nieda

Terry G. Von Nieda, 82, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Tuesday, December 24, 2025. He was born February 7, 1943 to the late Boyd Walker Von Nieda and Margaret “Peggy” (Clark) Fried. He is survived by his loving wife, of 64 years, Patricia E. (Garst) Von Nieda.

Terry worked at Klick Lewis for 17 years and went on to be a member of the Teamsters 776, United Parcel Service for 26 years, also a member of the PA Dutch Region of the AACA, and Jaycess Club of Palmyra, which Terry aged out of after a longtime commitment. In his spare time, he enjoyed donating his time to his church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Palmyra where he was a faithful member. He was an avid woodworker who also enjoyed bowling watching both local and NASCAR racing, and boating with his family. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Lorrie Johns, Terry L. Von Nieda and wife Rebecca; siblings, George, Thomas, Terri Lynn, Michael, and Tanya Von Nieda, Jay Johnson, Suzanne Ragsdale, Brinley Fried, Peggy Ann McLoughlin, Stephanie Tizzio, and Melanie Gabbard; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings, and Roger Von Nieda, and Phillip and Robert Fried; and son-in-law, Thomas Johns.

Services will be published upon completion.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to his church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Palmyra.
