Tamatha E. Lesher

Tamatha Elizabeth (Tanner) Lesher, 46, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Panama City, FL, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth A. (Mapes) Tanner. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 24 years, Tony L. Lesher.

Family was the passion of Tamatha’s life, as well as taking care of others. She cared for her mother when she was nearing the end of her life. Doing this labor of love sparked her desire to help take care of other people as they neared the end of their own lives. That was where her heart was, to give the dying the love, care, and respect they deserved. In her free time she enjoyed spending time at the beach and being outdoors.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: Bradley Lesher of Elizabethtown, and Daniel Tanner of Panama City, FL; two grandchildren Willow and Gabe Tanner; four siblings: Timothy Tanner (Teresa) of Panama City, FL, Keith Faile of LA, Edward Faile (Janie) of Pensacola, FL, Debbie Faile of Harrisburg; as well a nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
