Sylvia R. (Laudermilch) May, 102, of Palmyra, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2015. She was born Sunday, August 11, 1912 to the late Irwin H. and Edith E. (Heilman) Laudermilch. She was married to John E. May who died on February 14, 1995.
She is survived by a daughter, Judy Barnhart, of Annville, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jean M. Armagost; a brother, Ammon Laudermilch and a sister Mary Lingle.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 2 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with her grandson, Tad Barnhart officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill cemetery. Family and friends are respectfully invited to view at Rothermel Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
